Re: Bowen is past it
I would argu that Bowen is 'beond his peak'. I think he's lost half a yard of pace over the last year or so. Doesn't mean he's past it, and he's clearly struggling for his best form, but IMO one of the physical assets that he relied on isn't quite what it was. He's shown signs earlier in the seaso...

Re: Change the Laws?
Thi shouldn't require the law to be changed. It just needs the law to be implemented. The bottom line...if an action would be a foul in the centre circle, it should be a foul in the penalty area. Before the game you make it clear any holding will be penalised, and you'll keep giving penalties and y...

Re: Team for Fulham
IMO you have to stick with T-Rex at this point. Neither keeper is good. They both cause the team problems in different ways. And to keep chopping and changing keepers is a recipe for disaster. With what is being allowed at corners now, there are very few keepers in the league able to deal with it. F...

Re: Team for Liverpool
Frankly you'd be better off sticking Kilman in that role over Earthy. Physical presence/harrier. Just as quick over the ground as Pablo, carries well, more physical than Earthy. Or use Kante, or Magassa, or Scarles. Take away the notional assignment of 'forward', 'midfielder' or 'defender' and just ...

No idea if every single one of these pieces is valid, but this is a very interesting insight into the whole Epstein story:

Re: Burnley vs West Ham | PL | 7.2.25 | Predictions & Match Thread
Just have to remember Leicester raved about Hermansen when we signed him, and those early games were under the idiot Potter (and he was coming back from significant injury). He claims the ball better in the air from open play than Areola, and is calmer with the ball. Let's hope with that plus two ae...

Re: Released Mandleson documents contain surprise revelation: This weekend's PL Match schedule (6th - 8th February 2026)
The game of interest tonight aside this weekend is Palace for me. Has the window got them a striker to cover the loss of Mateta....or are they now a rudderless ship who fall like a stone? We need a team to fall off a cliff really. Spurs seems unlikely though they have the injuries to cause it. But ...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
We need back to back wins which needs us to have a run of relatively kind fixtures. Fulham (h) / Brighton (h) / Wolves (a) / Forest (h) / Spurs (a) is that run of fixtures. Whether we stay up or not will be decided by mid-January with those results and the success or failure in sorting out the weak...

Also when they're product testing dioralyte, wonder if the sadistically try to make it test like Acid Reflux deliberately. There is a product out there similar to Dioralyte called ORS that was developed specifically to deliver comparable benefits, but with an acceptable taste. There are two or thr...

Whether it's Gastro, Noro, or some other variant. What a fucking shitter! Came on at 3am....30 trips to the Royal Doulton later and no sign of it abating.
Ugh. How are the rest of you getting on with the inevitable pre-Xmas illnesses?

Re: Who is our worst signing?
It’s Todibo, all things considered. And exactly why these obligation loans don’t work. We saw he was shit and completely disinterested last season, yet still had to make it permanent at £35m. He’s even more shit and disinterested this season. Bloke couldn’t give a flying. He’s the only player to c...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
We were quoted 26million euros for Malick Thiaw over a year ago. This summer he went to Newcastle for about 40million euros so that's 35M pounds. Lacroix went to Palace for 18M top whack including appearances etc. Both are on the Unique roster which is owned by Will Salthouse. Yet we end up signing...

Were there any horrific non-migrant related crimes yesterday? Just out of interest.
Never denying how horrific this is...more just highlighting there is much that is horrific in society....but on WHO we seem to mostly get threads about a certain brand of horrific.

It is wrong of me to want to go and watch this car crash of a show? https://x.com/i/status/1978565359213957123 I'd have said so. Truly appalling lowest common denominator type show. 'You can't have your phone out in London' is a ridiculous thing to say, unless he's got some sort of tacky blingy diamond encrusted case. How is it ridiculous, they've literally had to paint lines on the streets warning people not to walk in them with their phones out as they're likely to get sna...
