I think for his presence in either box, certainly not for running inthe midfield but we have Fernades for that. 

FWIW I’d swap him for Wilson early second half if we’re still 0-0. He’s on a card and we can’t afford a sending off plus we need a goal.

And yet if you look at the numbers and the on pitch play, he's been excellent against Spurs, Sunderland, Burnley and Man Utd.

We started to look really threatening with two up front even when one of them was shit because they occupied defenders and created space for the two wingers to cause damage. So naturally for West Ham we have a manager who has decided to ditch something that has been effective and made us look like a team who could beat anyone, and revert to the tactic that got us into a relegation mess.

Dont totally agree. We've had the better and good chances so far this game. And it was a very specific two up front not just any two. We don't have an adequate replacement who offers what the guy who is out did.

 

 

Matter of opinion I suppose but IMO we definitely haven't looked as threatening as we did in the last few games. If be happy with any other forward there instead of Magassa mainly because of the opportunity it creates for Bowen and Summerville and their ability to take advantage of it. 

I think he's reverted to defensive type and that hasn't served us well for years.
