Odds slashed from 5/1 to 7/2.
Watch this space.
I think we're fucked.

On paper we have the toughest run-in as we still have to play 5 of the matches against teams currently in the top 10.
Compare that to 4 for Tottenham, 4 for Forest and 3 for Leeds.
Our 3 matches in April should decide it
dont forget City, Spurs, Forest and Arsenal all have Euro competition to worry about going in to April. They will be caught in two minds where we (FA Cup aside) should be prepared, fresher and fired up for every game.

Arsenal would have won the league by then and hopefully they will still be in the champions league and rest a lot of players.

Before their last Home game of the season against Everton they have 5 Away games and 3 Home games. Even if they suddenly got their act together supporting their Club, they've only got limited Home games to get behind them now. They will want to hope they are still in with a chance of staying up before it gets to the last game of the season.
I would however laugh my fucking cock off if our game against Leeds at Home required us both to only draw to stay up as they went down because of it. Could you imagine the Spurs uproar if that happened to play out.

What I didn't realise about Spurs run-in is they also have to play Leeds as well as Forest. On paper easy games but in reality they are nightmare fixtures in this current situation. A Spurs Team that has somehow managed to go on a longer winless run now of 11 games than us since 1975 with Liverpool up next!
Even Wolves Away won't be a banker of a win with how Edwards has got that place jumping at Home again, as we know all too well ourselves.

On paper 100%. But like Russ rightly pointed out recently a number of other equally important factors come in to play that doesn't make it as simple as who has the easier run in on paper.
Confidence
Momentum
Pressure
All Spurs have in abundance out of those 3 factors is unbearable pressure with zero momentum and confidence to compound it. And it shows in their ill discipline (contrary to what that mong Tudor denies) as a Squad when two Captains now keep getting themselves needlessly sent off, Porridge kicking shit out of their heated seats whilst flicking daggers at mocked Tudor and their Captain ranting on social media about how shit the Club is.
So much so it even shows being typified with half their fans exiting their spaceship stadium by half time at this stage of the season, phone-ins of Spurs fans constantly crying and O'Haha losing the will to pive live on air. I just found out he unfollowed Agbanlahor because he could dish it out to him but couldn'ttake it himself. Also see Sad Fuckwits laughable behaviour.
I'd have our run-in over theirs with all the factors thrown in any day of the week.

Villa seem to be falling apart. Not sure when they get there midfielders back. So we have a big chance there.

Yes all speculation, equally it is not beyond the realms of possibility that we get points from MCity / Villa move up our mini league and are safe before the end of the season.

Well we've certainly had luck this past 6 days. Since the customary Anfield capitulation, we've needed 6 games to go our way... and ended up with 5 (and a half). I never expected that return
I'll take being in decent form and hoping it doesn't change over being in bad form and praying it does

A 9 game 4 team mini league that we start one point behind spurs and three behind Leeds.. We just have to avoid finishing bottom.
Our rivals have won one game between them in the last 6.. Leeds beating Forest... Spurs have won two, yes TWO games since October and none in 11... How fucking absolutely brilliant would it be?
We went to theirs 13points behind them and I think they were 150/1 to be relegated and sang going down to us... If Carlsberg...
I don't pay too much attention to past form/games as that can change quickly, as it did with us. As said before it's just so tough to predict as anyone can seemingly beat anyone. I thought Leeds were OK but now they are creaking and it's kind of in their DNA to fuck up, but they do have winnable games to come, not gimmies, and of course we have them at home still. I thought Forest were shot but they get a point at City, so who knows. I think they have the toughest run in on paper and have to beat Fulham next week. Spurs also have a kind run in, but could nerves kick in, and what do they do about Tudor?
It's looking like it will go to the wire.
You're right of course about form changing and anything can happen. It's been a very interesting and bizarre league down the bottom this year. But better to be the team in decent form with the momentum than be the teams looking to find it.
I like you and some others can't see those North London cunts going down, but is it not logic or just as Mad Dog says we don't think we could be that lucky?
Their form is fucking horrendous aren't they just averaging a point a game over the last two seasons and since October it has got worse and worse... Hard to ignore those facts but I just can't believe we'd be staying up at their expense it's just too good to comprehend

Funny, what would normally be a pint of bothered please guv, is now mildly interesting.
A hilarious quote on the comments under the article...
"Why not expand it further. Would it be possible for all the teams to have a chance at the three promotion spots. Perhaps they could play each other a couple of times through the year to see who is best overall."
Yea good one and not wrong, finishing 8th and being promoted?

Opta now has our odds of relegation at 52%. Forest 29%. Leeds and Spurs both 8%.
Our odds are improving and the rest are being sucked in.

That Man U game still annoys me. Fucking ref conjuring up extra minutes way beyond what should have been played during which they scored a fully undeserved wonder goal.
Happened again last night didn’t it? Obviously I’m far from impartial but I can’t help but think the refs have been terrible towards us for most of the season.
Didn't we have someone down for pretty much the first 2 minutes of added time?
