Odds slashed from 5/1 to 7/2.

Watch this space.

I think we're fucked.

That Man U game still annoys me. Fucking ref conjuring up extra minutes way beyond what should have been played during which they scored a fully undeserved wonder goal.

Happened again last night didn’t it? Obviously I’m far from impartial but I can’t help but think the refs have been terrible towards us for most of the season.

I expect us to get something at Villa.

Hope we have a four or five point buffer going into the final four.

we have 8pts from the last 6.
Pablo and Taty are essential to causing havoc among the opposition defence by closing down defenders and midfielders, enabling Bowen and Jimmy more space and time.

My only worry we get battered by Man City, lose comfortably at Villa and then heads go down.
Villa are in freefall, we go there with some form and momentum we can look to target a result

City may pump us but we've responded well recently to the heartbreak against Chelsea and Man Utd.  The squad looks more together and more fight than the Spurs squad at the moment.

I'm convinced that 39 points keeps someone up this season, possibly not us though due to GD.

Winn all five of those and that would leave us on 43 points even if we lose the other four. I think we would all take that at this stage.

I just can't see us winning five out of nine games though. But then again, who saw us winning seven out of nine to keep us up in 2007.

If we do stay up this season it would be second only to 2007 in terms of a "great escape".

Momentum is everything in a relegation battle and we have it. It's absolutely remarkable that we were 13 points behind them about ten games ago and we are now 1 point behind.

Would take a miracle for Spurs to turn things around, I really think they are gone if they lose tonight. And if you venture onto their forums, so do they. They are having a complete meltdown and its glorious.

Clear City then there's 5 games which we have to get 9 points from minimum

Villa A
Wolves H
Palace A
Everton H
Brentwood A

Sticks us on 37 with 3 to play.  Two winnable home games,  Villa in freefall and Palace is same level as Fulham.   4 huge games, hopefully take some form into Brentford

I’ll be pleasantly surprised if Spurs lose or even draw tonight. They have a decent enough squad even with all their injuries. They always get the luck when they need it. Goes back to the days when they got all easy home draws to win the FA cup twice !!  Their 2026 form is attrocious so surely that cannot continue?

Expect Palace to roll over tonight or VAR / ref decisions to go in their favour or some bizarre richochets to result in goals for them. Its Spurs they always get help from somewhere when most needed the jammy cvnts !!

Without a crystal ball it's really hard to say what we will need, in one way there isn't a long way to go but in another way there is. What worries me is that we lose to both City and Villa and maybe 3+points adrift again, and then it's back to the absolute must wins.

It is making for an exciting end to the season TBH, the last few seasons by this time we are all but safe and those last games don't really mean a whole lot except final position, not going down and an outside shout of Europe which we usually fuck up but on the whole pretty drab.

Not sure the relegation battle is what i want on a regular basis...........but will feel good and be punching the air if we stay up, given how we looked a few months ago but that's football i suppose🤷‍♂️

We had to get something at Wolves or we were down after only getting one point from Brighton and Fulham, we got smashed.. Then we had Forest at home and we had to beat them to not have it confirmed in most of our eyes that we were definitely done, we lost.

We then after gaining some ground had to beat Bournemouth or we were gone again and as we didn't definitely needed something at Anfield... Nobody knows or can predict what will happen, nobody had Leeds losing at home to Sunderland or Forest getting a point at City.. The only predictable nailed on certainty wes our result against the victims, but that's out of the way now.

It's going to be a both nerve wracking and exciting end to the season and I'm really looking forward to going to the bowl for the upcoming games.

No argument that there’s still much to do if we are going to survive. But odd to claim that we can’t win matches when we have won four of the last eight. In the same period, Leeds and Forest have won two and Tottenham zero. The momentum is with us although clearly nothing is guaranteed – past performance/ future results and all that.

My guess is that 41 or 42 points is going to be the survival target. Achieve that and we will end up above one of the other candidates for the third relegation spot. The trouble is results can get freakish in the run-in. Right now, Villa away (if they are still without most of their first-choice midfield) is looking like it could be an easier game than resurgent, under no pressure Wolves at home.

Tottenham v Nottingham Forest on March 22 could be an interesting crossroads.

And worth remembering, 16 of our 28 points have come away from the London Stadium.

if they lose tonight I wouldn't be shocked if they get rid of this chump.
