Massive match Sunday and we need to take something but a win will take and keep us out of the bottom three.
Hopefully Summerville is back and if he is just one decision for Nuno to make and that is which of the centre backs misses out... Really tough decision for him as Disasi has been great since arriving, Dinos and Todibo were both outstanding against City.
If Summerville isn't fit I'm guessing he'll go for another midfielder and hope he does as I'd prefer not to go three at the back again.

CBs it's Mavropanos before Todibo for me. Mavro has been excellent lately. Earlier in the season who'd predict a defensive problem would be we are unsure who out of 3 good CBs we should play?
Nuno confirmed 2 days ago that Summerville is out
I was intrigued by someone's suggestion on here that maybe Todibo could play right back..Certainly better positionally amd aerially than AWB

If we lose and beat Wolves we are going to be a point behind Leeds and possibly 2 or 3 points ahead of Forest who then have Man Utd and Villa respectfully in the days following.Yep agree with that, last weeks results were massive and put us into a position where we can't really fall far behind today.
Interestingly Leeds are still 6/1 to be relegated while bookies have us at very slight favourites but not much between us Forest and Spurs all around 2s... It's because Leeds play the bottom two at home but it doesn't take into account Wolves upturn in form, going to be a tough game for both of us I think
Yep, the big downside with losing today is Wolves then becomes a must win, and as you say..

You poor cսnt. No one deserves that on a Sunday. Thoughts and prayers fella.![]()
Although saying that, should we win and they lose to Forest, even I would LOVE to be a fly on that wall you were in come the final whistle. It could be a great day or a terrible day.
I cannot take the nerves that come with watching us
You fucking love, like we all do deep down, so shut yer face.
Embrace it and bring it on, I say...
Let's all leave the panicky-spastics to the petrified Spurs fans.

A win today will put us at least two points ahead of one of our rivals and only one behind Leeds. It would be massive. COYI.

Definitely woken up a tad nervous about this one and also a tad less confident with some of their players returning. I do think we will turn up though and can get something.

I would say no, but might find a way of getting a point. When was the last time we beat a side even close to the top 6?? It's important that we come through this weekend in decent shape still before a run of winnable games.
February last season against Arsenal Away and that was even under the gormless Potter. It's not impossible and certainly not against a side who struggle to buy a win in the League these days. This is one of those winnable games.Of course it's not impossible, we're playing Aston Villa not prime Barca, but appreciate the heads up on Arsenal. The reality is none of us have a scooby what is going to happen today, but we certainly have hope.
True. We really don't
Approach the game as we did Chelsea and scouse away and remember to defend as well, and you never know. Approach it as we approached City last week I'd say our chances are significantly diminished.
Whilst the three central defenders were magnificent, we conceded the midfield and offered nothing going forward
It's all too stressful

Got a busy day lined up with family stuff, most of whom are spurs fans
Avoiding the game might be a blessing mind you.
Draw would be great, a win would be a huge shift in momentum.

It'll be an interesting measure of where we're at. We've gone close against top 6 teams (Chelsea & Man Utd), Without Summerville I'm just not sure we have enough to really go at Villa.

I'm not confident on this one tbh...it's a big ask to go there and get a win...a draw would be a great result for us
Agree, I have bad feelings about this game and I really hope to be proven wrong. A win here is another golden chance to potentially put us above one or both of Forest and Spurs, but despite our good form we've had recently when it really comes down to it we just cannot grasp these opportunities, and for Villa its must win. Draw at best.
