Re: Nuno Out
Nuno on being called out for skulking away at Wolves..
“I should have gone there (the away end). I should have but I was in a bad place. ”After I knew I made a mistake. The moment I got in the dressing room I said I should have gone there. I trust my instinct. I trust my experience."

We don't have the time for someone like him to bed in his ideas. Nor do we have it for this defensive slop we're being served up at the minute.
We need a maverick, balls out, roll the dice kind of manager to try to get us out of this mess. Di Canio, Ange, along those lines. Instant impact, shit or bust. And if it doesn't work, then get one of the new fancy dan managers to build from there next season.
That's fair enough.

Frankly its the only thing j can think of for his match tactics and selections, and if what we're hearing about how he's conducting is true, that could well be the same
If he does this then he is more stupid then most.
who is going to employ a manager who got sacked twice in one season, once in purpose.
its a nice conspiracy but it isn’t true.

Re: Nuno Out
He has Scarles and Potts as regular starters and many under-21s on the bench. Moyes, Loppy or Potter would not have done that. If we stay up, he could get us as he did Forrest in a European competition next season

Re: Nuno Out
I don't see him being sacked regardless the Forest outcome (unless it's a massive tonking).
We've just signed two players he wants, and are apparently in the market for more (CB, Winger).
It seems much more likely that they'll back him to to the end, and not to twist again. Seems they're also going all in on Mendes as the chief architect for getting players into the Club (which frankly given Sullivan's and Brady's personal failings is actually probably preferable).
We are a bit different to Wolves in this...Mendes had a stake in Wolves I believe at the time they were flooding Wolves with players for flipping...it became part of their owners model for running of the Club.
At West Ham, they have association purely through their client (Nuno) but I suspect now that Mendes is 'in' with a complient owner in Sullivan, he'll only be too happy to keep buying/selling on our behalf regardless of how long Nuno remains in post.

Re: Nuno Out
He's already up there for me and I have no doubt that is what he is doing.
He is also using the club to recruit players he wants via his preferred agent. When he was at Wolves he flooded the Wolves team with mainly Portuguese and some Spanish players and it looks like he is seeking to do the same at West Ham.
Even if we do miraculously survive this season under this clown, he will get another transfer window in the summer to flood the team with more Portuguese and Spanish/ Spanish speaking players and the English element of the team will be eroded further.
I would hate to see West Ham become one of those clubs with one English player or even none in the starting line up. That might actually be the prompt for me to give up on attending games and renewing my season ticket.

Re: Nuno Out
I think Nuno set out deliberately to lose against Wolves. Was quite happy to be 3-0 down at half time.
The 2nd half confirmed this when bringong on Soucek and Myers, keep the score at 3-0 nothing else,5-0 defeat would mean the sack. Save Pablo and Paqueta for Forest and anyone else he may want. Nuno has thought that he'll get his players and probably another coach in.Gambling on getting enough points to leap over Forest. He's gone all out to bank on the window. He must think he's good enough coach to see this through.
Forest have imlpoded and set this up for him to be proved right. He is planning on a 3-0 victory,Paqueta,Taty and Pablo.
Nuno is a genius.

Quite a claim to fame that would be for no hope Nuno!
I think I read it will be the first same season double sacking of a Prem manager. But yes that added detail adds to it.
As other said, he's obviously going to be reluctant to sack him after letting him spend tens of millions on two players of his choosing. But to be honest, after reading that Stenberg piece about his poor communication it doesn't sound a very hopeful situation. And looking at his signings and his squad choices it looks like he has a preference for South American players which may be driven more by their cultural proximity to him than their suitability.

He cant sack him after spending £50m this week. That's the bonkers thing, we could lose 3-0 again tomorrow and he will have to give him the Spurs game

The decision making at this Club has been off the scale bonkers and it continues with dropping close to £50M on Nuno signings within days of getting spanked by the worst Premier League side going ever. That's also off the back of Steinbergs piece revealing staff and players have no faith in the manager. Proper fucking madness going on.
