Odds slashed from 5/1 to 7/2.
Watch this space.
I think we're fucked.

Losing at Anfield doesn’t relegate us
But could be close to done at the end of the coming week if we lose at Fulham (likely) & home to Man City (almost certainly) with Forest & Tottenham having 3 games by the end of next weekend
Once the gap gets past 2 wins with single figures of games left it seems very unlikely to escape

Our rent drops if we fall out of the PL, does it not?
Sullivan will be a-dancin' and a-whoopin' around his drum in the style of a Red Indian chief trying to bring on the rain in an fan appeasing attempt to make relegation happen.
Cash flow! Think of the cash flow! I'll show 'em! Ungrateful bastards.
Oddball cսnt.

I might put a bet on a Forest and Tottenham away double tomorrow.
Might even be tempted to go for 1-2 for each game.
At least I'll be quids in if the do both win.
I hope you lose the lot.

Half the attendance next season will be free tickets given out to STABBY kids from NEWHAM SCHOOLS

If we do go down next season attendances at the rented bowl will be interesting. We'd probably get 50k if we are doing well and for big games, but on average it will likely be 35k-40k.
That many ? I think we’ll be one of the most winnable away fixtures given the “intimidating” atmosphere.

Tickets will have to be around £20-25 and season tickets around £400. Imagine a midweek game at the shithole in January when its 2oc and playing LINCOLN CITY or STOCKPORT COUNTY

Look at the top 8 or so in LEAGUE ONE. We'll be playing THREE of those next season.

The issue is the massive loss the board has overseen.
Any quality will go. No Bowen, Fernandes or Summerville in the Championship.
I reckon only Kilman (can't get rid), Soucek (loyalty), Mavrapanos (loyalty), Walker-Peters (his level), Scarles (loyalty/ level), Potts (loyalty/ level), Mayers (loyalty/ level), Orford (loyalty/ level), Casey (loyalty/ level) and Earthy (loyal/ level) will still be in the squad for the Championship.
Everyone else will go. Even Kilman will likely go out on loan if they can find someone to cover his wages.

I think most have accepted it.
The difference between now and 2 months ago is that I reckon we'll come straight back up, the freefall has stopped.
Retain 60/70% of the team and PACO in?
Anyway its not over yet, but we are relying on other teams to drop points. We do need gash Pablo and useless Potts back.

In a morbid curiosity sort of way I'd love to see the fallout if we go down.

Sadly I think Spurs and Forest will get points tomorrow. Everything just seems to have been against us since the season started and so many lost leads, late goals etc. If we are relegated, which in all honestly looks likely, we will look at the first half of the season as the main cause. We got ourselves into such deep a hole and have simply been unable to recover. We needed everything to go our way. The home loss to Forest, late goal for United, inability to take chances against Bmouth. There was no margin for error

Gotta hope Brighton and Fulham do us a favour tomorrow.
Our own fault for failing abysmally in so many winnable games this season.
Yep.

Think so, with the negative GD it would be 6 points. Fuck that.

Unfortunately they are both winnable away games for Forest and Tottenham, respectively. So this could be a disastrous weekend for us.

Interesting fact about Spurs situation and the remaining League fixtures. Soccer Saturday just flashed up their results against the same Teams last season and they lost all of them bar the last game of the season when they beat Everton. LOLZ!

Sorry I'm fucking delighted it's been moved to 8pm, as I am working Saturday and already struggling to come up with yet another dead mum, cat, nan story or highly infectious sudden illness
It's more time in the pub before for everyone going. Silver linings and all that

I suppose other than deciding whether or not to get up in the small hours, it doesnt make a great deal of difference if you live overseas and don't go to games.
If a game is selected for TV it usually means it's fixed. I only discovered it was possible that it might move through a post on here a week or so ago.
I've got the hump as it's fucked up some long-held plans but I still dont think it'd be too hard to notify STHs
I don't do X
