Woke watch
"There is a very good section on GB news where the ludicrous idiocies of Wokeness are looked at I thought we would should have one for WHO. I'll start with Baptiste on BBC: In Hungary,an ambassador's family are kidnapped by Islamic terrorists and carry out atrocities. At the end of the last episode Baptiste finds out that it is a false flag operation and conveniently, the real culprits are white supremacists who want to stop all immigration. Coronation Street ITV a gay black footballer is stopped by the police, because he is driving an expensive car. He is pushed to the ground during an altercation, and damages his leg threatening his career. Could have been written by Dawn Butler or a BLM activist."

Your sour grapes about labour winning makes fuck all difference, as does the sour grapes petition you shared.
This country has a democratic system of voting for governments, you can’t pick & choose when it suits your politics. So you can't answer? Just as i thought
Labour winning as fuck all to do with it J1had1. The consocialists called for a general election. You didn't have a problem with that? If it was sour grapes why has it took 5months to do this? Why not straight away. Why do you think we had a GE earlier this year?
Because the consocialists was failing the country. Why do you think people are calling for a election now?

Yeah fair and square, know one is disputing that. I am talking about how they got in on a low voter turnout. As for the petition, even if it don't get anything done, it will make the mongrels in government sweat, knowing how much the public despise them.

Their majority is so vast they won’t lose a minutes sleep over this. They will serve at least one full term, probably two given the size of the majority.36-38% voted for them. I wouldn't call that a majority

Re: Woke watch
What’s the petition got to do with ‘woke watch’?
Its pointless anyway, even when it’s debated in parliament it will last about 30 seconds.

Always wondered why no blue hairdo type has kicked off about non Orientals using chopsticks.
Really not sure how it all works,is it OK for an Indian to wear a pancho and sombrero to a fancy dress do or will the pc mob be screaming about that. The rule makers need to be a bit clearer on what is OK and what gers them shrieking.

Re: Woke watch
This is possibly all "accidentally deliberate", drawing a line after a certain period, making it harder to compare like-for-like things today with how they were in the past.
Maybe life (in the UK/west) was better in the 1960/70s but those in power know they can't allow that to be set as a bar, or a target to be reached for again, as their vested interests have all but destroyed that possibility.

Advertising is all about point scoring in the eyes of the public now- or at least appeasing certain parts of the public with what they think they should be seeing- over and above the actual product you’re selling and whether it’s any good or not.

I remember reading ID, Face and even occasionally Vogue back in the 80s/90s and laughing out loud at the nuttiness of it all. The same spirit is being used to destroy classic brands.
