Re: Team for Liverpool

Replace Soucek with Fearon in Pablo's role.
Full of running and great passing to link up the midfield and attack.
It's the simplest change, and he showed how good he was in pre season compared to our then midfield/ dead wood.

Re: West Ham vs Bournemouth | PL | 21.2.26 | Predictions & Match Thread

Think this game was crying out for someone like Fearon to come on to give some real attacking pace nd fst passing, especially through the middle.
Felt like we dawdled a fair bit in the passing compared with previous, do think the nerves were showing with a lot of snatched passes.

Re: West Ham vs Man Utd | PL | 10.2.26 | Predictions & Match Thread

Having slept on it, and kicked the proverbial dog a bit, I thought it was a great effort by the team.
If only we'd been playing like it from the start, but can't fault the players who pretty much left it all out on the pitch.
It's light and day compared to last year under that wet blanket Potter.

Re: West Ham vs Man Utd | PL | 10.2.26 | Predictions & Match Thread

I just knew when we (Scarles) didn't take it to the corner but tried to play Wilson in...
It's the WHU playbook I've seen too many times...

Feels like a loss.  I know that it is actually a decent result against them on paper, but does it help us escape?

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread

Like the strength and willingness to stay on his feet rather than dive. Seems to drift to right wing a bit, is he playing as a front pair with the 10?
Good, positive, forward and cross field passing.

Just need him beyond our penalty box, along with the rest of the bloody team...

Re: Man City vs West Ham | PL | 20.12.25 | Predictions & Match Thread

It's the hope that pulls you back...😅 I'm possibly being a bit harsh, we have looked more organised with Nuno, and when we have  chosen  to be more attacking we've been a breath of fresh air...possibly because we're so used to the fetid stuff we've had before. It's more that we can see, all of us, t...

Re: Man City vs West Ham | PL | 20.12.25 | Predictions & Match Thread

We'll play with no striker and youth on the bench.
10 man defence.
And concede 3 in 15 mins if we do.
Why not just try and play with some attack Nuno?...

Re: Everton vs West Ham | PL | 29.7.25 | Predictions and Match Thread

Hmm, this I see as Nuno's most important games: if he selects the same/similar midfield or team we know we'll lose but more than that we will know that he's just another like Cock Piss that can't see the obvious that we can.  If he actually has some balls and mixes it up to get some youth and pace i...

Re: Kyle Walker-Peters signs

So, just a thought for when we inevitably don't fix the centre mid with pace...stick him there? Looking at him play he drifts inside quite a bit, seems to hold onto the ball well, pacey, and would allow us to push the midfield line further than our penalty box. Yes, possibly not the best solution b...
