It’s all very well you trying to be open minded and thoughtful about this geezer but the truth is that he only played a handful of games for Villa so in other words he’s played fuck all football in the past 12 months. The chances of him being match fit right now are zero.He must be weeks away from being ready.

I'm actually O.K with Disasi signing...He looked O.K for Chelsea until Maresca kept chopping and changing on a whim. I'm not expecting a world beater but he does have a bit of a presence and bite to his game. He is most probably pals with Magassa from when they were at Monaco so that might get something going too.

He wouldn't have to do much more than turn up with a pair of boots and run around a bit to be our second best centre back. 100% in a couple of games it's him and Todibo starting and even as an average centre back we'll all see how much better he is compared to Mav and Kilman.

If Jimmy Summerville keeps playing like he has for the last few games, I don't think we'll miss Kudus at all.

He may have said "Look, I ain't playing at Chelsea. I want to play, but I ain't. It is what it is. So, for me, what's the point of going from Chelsea where I don't play, to West Ham where I won't play."

And if he did. Then you can see his point. It would be a nothing move for him. So he has probably just said, "If I come, I need to play, otherwise its pointless."

Now you can take that in two ways. If you want to be a cսnt about it, like Alex Crook on Talksport who slagged him off last night for being lazy and not wanting to play football, then go ahead. You can take it that way and claim he is demanding to be played. And get in a froth over why we have brought in a player who doesn't want to be here.

But, if you want to be a bit more level headed about it, you can see it as above and simply that the kid wanted to make the move worthwhile. Nowt wrong with that in my eyes. Nobody knows what conversations are had and in what context. But, let's be honest, does anyone really think he would come in and make demands like "I will be playing". No, not at all. The world is more nuanced than that and not everything is black and white all the time. 

Agree- I want to see the positive as well with this. I hope he was saying he wants game time. I hope he's feeling like he's got a massive fucking point to prove and to kickstart his career. I hope he's another Lingard for us. I don't care if his ambition is higher than West Ham and if he just wants to put himself in the shop window for a few months because we reap the benefit of that. If he plays a part, looks good and we should stay up, then he can toddle off somewhere in the summer with my thanks or join permanently.
