Question 6 reminded me of the old joke. Batman and Robin are in the big fight with the bad guys Sock, biff, yaroo, zap. Batman picks up a vase, clumps The Joker over the head with it and goes "T'Pau." Robin goes "don't you mean Kapow?" Batman says "no, T'Pau. China In...

Reckon there should be no fielding restrictions to give the bowlers a chance
Agree with that.

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
Think I saw a stat yesterday that mathematically we have the 2nd hardest run in out of everyone. Our opponents average position is 9.3 Forest is something like 9.6 Sp*rs is 13. Something This week just gone, mathematically Spurs were playing a side 6 points above them, at home. We were playing ...

Re: Latest accounts
Yes, Kilman's value is written down at £8m per year. At the end of this year his book value will be £24m. Should someone foolish buy him for £30m then we could report a £6m profit. I'm not sure what happens from an accounting perspective is he is sold for less than £24m. If Kilman is sold for say ...

Re: Latest accounts
Correct me if I'm wrong because I've never been a maths expert. Does the reported £40 Million fee paid for Kilman over a seven year contract mean that £5-6 Million per financial year is regarded as debt? Do Wolves receive this every season until his contract runs out or do they get it earlier? I kn...

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xSc-8FdMiMU 196 million owed to other clubs in transfer fees. 3.9 million owed to us in transfer fees. It's almost impressive the board could be that bad at the transfer deficit. 20% of it is probably Kilman but FMOB that's a lot to spunk up the wall. Whilst the ac...

100m sounds cheap to commit genocide and seize Gaza
While Israel is a nuclear armed power and their opponents are not, Israel will do pretty much what they like.

“Lower profit from player sales” If your busy model relies on selling an academy product for £100m+ every season, you’re not fit for purpose. I work with public market companies. When does the sale of half the women’s team land? Next set of accounts? As far as I can see online the sale hasn't gone through yet. Perhaps their low league position, is causing the sale to stall? To answer/address various points people have made and questions they've asked:- Of the interest charge of £22 million, £15 million is a notional charge implied on outstanding transfer fees. It is a "book" entry and money doesn't actually leave the club. Only less than £2.4 million of inter...
