Re: West Ham vs Man City | PL | 14.3.26 | Predictions & Match Thread

Best we could have hoped for against them. Really in good form now and optimistic we will stay out the relegation zone. Just hope it’s Tottenham that go down and not forest and it’s going to be great season. Even if Arsenal end up winning.

If they start prioritising fixtures to suit TV schedules it’s not surprising the fanbase c...

Not really my thing but absolute respect to the guy for creating, doing what he loves and putting it out there knowing that the world is full of cunts who just want to knock you for having the audacity to create something that might not be your cup of tea. I think the issue here is not that some bl...

Re: West Ham vs Brentford | FA Cup | 9.3.26 | Predictions and Match Thread

5th April, 4:30pm. That’s Easter Sunday. A bit shit weekend to choose to have the qtr finals.  Brilliant I hate the Easter weekend boring shit and good to have a big game to look forward to  For those of us with enough imagination (and family) to fill a long weekend, it’s not so brilliant.

It says that we want to play our biggest rivals.
And we don't want our biggest rivals, Millwall, to get relegated when they come up like we do Tottenham?

Re: Pablo- is he absolute gash?

We don't have any free-scoring striker on the books and Nuno can only work with what he's got. The upturn in form has coincided with playing Taty and Pablo together upfront. It has allowed Bowen and Summerville to exploit the space left. Difficult to argue against that. Is Pablo a saviour? No, but ...

Re: West Ham vs Brentford | FA Cup | 9.3.26 | Predictions and Match Thread

Fuck knows what game you were watching dude. The one where he picked up the ball in midfield and dawdled forward so slowly with such poor awareness a Brentford player strolled up behind and took the ball off of him. Then Nuno subbed him off within a minute or two after. I was watching that one from...

Re: West Ham vs Brentford | FA Cup | 9.3.26 | Predictions and Match Thread

Had the good fortune of being behind the goal for the penalties. was a bit lucky in my view. Mayers was a liability and I am not impressed with Pablo. Bowen is looking a bit sharper.

someone pointed out that Summerville is missing from that pic. He’s properly injured?

Re: Ian Huntley dead

The wars are in a bigger scale world wars rather the tribal of nations, I will try those books thanks. Try Johnathon Black the Sacred History of the world Pinker's argument in a nutshell here: Germany in the 20th century, wracked by two world wars, had 144 war deaths per 100,000 per year. Russia ha...

Re: Ian Huntley dead

In response to Wils, The first civilisations go back to 3000 BC , In 5000 years we as in Humans have not progressed much since then. There are still wars, paedophilia, rape and murders        Agreed. But not as many wars and murders. See Steven Pinker, B etter Angels of our Nature   and Tom Holland...

Re: Ian Huntley dead

Respectfully disagree, Wils. If Huntley or similar monsters commit murder, rape, whatever, it's all on them. 100% of the blame is on them, and not any element is the fault of 'society', whatever the social climate. Not quite what I was saying. The point I was trying to make is revelling in the viol...

Re: Ian Huntley dead

I'm pretty sure we are all glad that he is dead. Personally, I think we should have capital punishment and the state should have executed him. However, it seems to me we should be careful about celebrating his murder in prison. Followed to its logical conclusion this means that murderers and other ...

Winning breeds confidence. Go all out for the win. Yeah I agree with this. Also, I know the tickets are cheap, but if he chucks this like Moyes did with a league cup quarter final I am going to be pissed off about buying a ticket for it and wasting my Monday night traipsing over there. As much as I...

Re: Ian Huntley dead

Huntley wasn't a paedophile, he was a murderer. He was also a bloody good caretaker. By all means, slag him off, call him evil and be glad he's dead but don't tarnish his name even further with crimes he didn't commit. His mum might read WHO and she is a grieving innocent. He got a 13 year old preg...

Re: Ian Huntley dead

That he committed the worst crime imaginable doesn't mean him meeting a violent end like this is a win for those who see themselves as decent and civilised by comparison. If you believe in capital punishment then let the state take care of it with a proper judicial process.
