Odds slashed from 5/1 to 7/2.

Burnley is a massive banana skin. tight game against Spurs right now and if they win today they'll believe they can turn us over and be right up for it.

No room for error whatsoever.

If Forest and Leeds lose tomorrow we are right back in it. If we gain another 3-4 on palace they are going to be bang in trouble.

Agreed, the Forest result was a killer, we have a glimmer of hope but the table still looks bleak.

The biggest singing this window is 3.5 M from the Red Sea pedestrians' biggest club, We have TATTY Pablo (Who looks a tad lost) and the Venezuelan wonder WiNGer
They also have conceded 20 less goals than us, lost 8 games less, won 4 more and have 16 points more, I think it's pretty much proven that spunking loads of money on players is absolutely no guarantee of quality or success. JWP, Kilman etc. A smart buy is better than an expensive one, and they have made a few of those in the last six months. It should be total embarrassment for everyone at our club that we got spanked 3-0 on opening day and are that far behind a club who just a few years ago were a joke and a national pity party off the back of their Netflix series.

All that said, their form isn't great at this moment, and this isn't a bad time to play them. We've no right to expect a win especially with such an inadequate squad but there is hope and it's eminently possible if we show up strong and approach the game in the correct way. We have to use that win last weekend as a launch pad.

Sir Alf" wrote: 21 Jan 2026, 16:15 Agree that our home is our biggest issue. Points total is better away!

But relegation is still more likely than not. We are a failing business and thats almost always down to a leadership problem. 100s of business books and seminars point to business / corporate leadership as the key to success or failure and cite many examples of . Fairly obvious when you think about it. We’ve all worked for companies that have gone south or been part if a company that grows, becomes successful or both ( I kniw I have).  Always came down to a great leader, owner, CEO. The successful ones were assured, often humble, listened but had a clear vision of what they wanted and inplemented a culture and values to support their vision / plan.

We have a weak man mentally, who’s everyday is dpent trying to validate himself or get validation for his actions or non action. He has no plan, vision, he cannot listen to others and believes he knows best. Things go wrong, his full energy is focused on deflection of blame. His greatest achievement is his implementation of a blame culture that has deflected from his lack of leadership and incompetence for 16 years at West Ham and 10 years at Brum.
He spent 16 years at Brum. Hopefully this threshold will trigger another swift exit...

Not sure about that pal. Both Burnley and Wolves have shown some resilience of late, and Palace are a club in turmoil.
Get yourself on Betfair son, Palace are 25/1 to go down
Had a score on them going when Glasner announced he was leaving.
I've done a bullseye on Spurs to go down.
