Well those stats are just fake news.

Look at the Census data from 2001, 2011 and 2021 to see a truer reflection of where this country is heading.

In each of those Census surveys the white British population has declined significantly and the South Asian and Muslim and Hindu populations have risen significantly.

This is why we get sectarian South Asian politics in the UK now and battles and riots between Muslims and Hindus in places like Leicester.

It's the depressing reality.

In this by election the Greens ran a campaign ad in Urdu, which depicted Keir Starmer with Modi at the end as if Labour was best friends with India, which was meant to push voters of Pakistani heritage away from Labour.

The Greens election pamphlet was also written in Urdu, and as well as the Indian "friendship" said Labour must be "punished for Gaza", and "vote for the Green Party for a strong, Muslim voice".

Yes, now that Britishness is threatened by 30 years and counting of mass, unprecedented, open door immigration policies that has led to the following, amongst other things:

- Multiple stabbing attacks in major cities
- The bombing of a concert in Manchester killing children and adults
- The cold blooded stabbing murders of three little girls in a Taylor Swift themed workshop
- A major, co-ordinated terrorist attack on 7th July 2005 which killed 50 people and injured hundreds others

There are some caveats to this. Look at the fertility rates for atheists compared to Muslims. Secondly look at the age demographics of that religion spread. Muslims are the youngest demographic and in London represent 15% of the population as it's a young population. In London school's, 33% of the pupils are muslims.

With sectarian politics here, as us older white majority die off, this will define the next generation.

The muslim proportion of the population is growing and we can debate about how quickly but with chain migration the rate will only increase so their dominance is about when and not if. So if you think it's alarmist then I have a question for you. What are you expecting to change to stabilise their rate of growth?

Finally I should add I am married to Turk (albeit an atheist) but have many headscarfed practicing muslims in my extended family and friend group. They even held an Iftar in our home last year. I am personally ok with Muslims themselves and hold no prejudice against them. But it's a fact if they reach even a significant minority, which they arguably already are, we will face a Northern Ireland style political landscape.

The freedoms we offer as a country to immigrants should come with. to use a popular idiom, caveats. We should probably and probably legally expect all immigrants to:

1. Respect the monarchy and religion of the/our country as a pinnacle with non-changeable status,
2. Live and abide by the rules and accepted norms of their chosen adopted country,
3. Give the same respect to those who's beliefs differ from theirs as that which they expect/demand others to give to their beliefs.
4. Fuck off completely if they believe in any sort of "god".

OK - number 4 is a bit tongue in cheek, but immigrants can do that belief shit in their own country. We don't need their help to do it in ours.

 

 

I see where you're coming from. But this still means the host country takes a hit. Because, historically, with a stable homogenised demos we were able to be liberal and thrive without needing to codify what it means to be British.

British was the water we swam in and, like fish who didn't know they were wet, we didn't need to know or care what it meant to be British. That gave us a lot of freedom and amongst other things underpinned a liberal society. But now that Britishness is threatened, we need to codify what being British means (like you have attempted with this post) and the consequences of that will be a less liberal and authoritarian state.
