I don't want to see that t-rex armed little fuck in goal for us again, he's fucking useless. Yeah he's had a couple of clean sheets but they were games with fuck all to do. I think he's fucking hopeless and I want Areola and his stupid fucking hair back between the sticks rather than this fucking child sized scandi dickhead with stunted fucking arms and Jeremy Beadle hands. What the fuck is it he's supposed to be good at? It ain't goalkeeping I'll tell you that. Maybe he makes good fucking fish fingers or something, brings them to training and sells them out the back of his fucking Saab.

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
Been reading Gonzo’s article about the searching of fans and confiscating of banners, red cards for protesting etc. Real dystopian stuff, basically preventing free speech. Sullivan’s narcissism and its primary aim, control, really coming to the fore. This club of ours is at its lowest ebb in its history under this ownership and at this juncture relegation while looking more likely than not could still be avoided. I just feel ( being the most pessimistic ) its written in the stars that its our year to go. It will take an exceptional result or two in addition to winning home games against teams outside the top 6. I just dont see we have the goal scorers and finishing to do it. We rely so much on Bowen’s finishing and he seems to have hit one of those dips in form all players have at the worst time possible? Taty is not a finisher but comes up with the odd goal ( all headers ), Summerville had a nice run of goals but now back to missing chances? Soucek still comes up with a goal but overall our good form is stuttering now due mostly to inability to finish.
Is Pablo’s work rate and ability to occupy defenders a reason? Possibly as we aint won a game since he got crocked.
Fulham look a very decent outfit and we are going to need everything to go our way. Ref decisions / VAR, deflections, and our ability to defend set pieces. But overall its finishing that is falling short imho.

Spurs are fucked, even their fans are saying it now. Fancy us to best Fulham and then the City game we can have a real go at them, they will be in between the Champs league games so won't be at it. Once we are out of the bottom 3 I think we will pull clear.

I'm quite happy to have been wrong in the results predictions as I was expecting the worst and hoping to be proved wrong.
And I didn't put on any bets in the end, so I WIN yet again.

We're certainly a better team than Tottenham right now and so should give them more of a game.
Tottenham hasn't won a league game in 2026!

It is the slimmest of slim chances that we stay up, and has been since the moment we lost to Fulham at home. That loss properly set up the pressure cooker, and we absolutely flunked the next 3 games. Yeah we've rallied, but we are not going to win at Anfield, or beat Man City, so we absolutely had to beat Bournemouth to stay in the fight, and we couldn't, the XG we apparently had is irrelevant.
A poster on here said he wasn't worried about collecting points when Nuno first came in, just performances mattered at that point. Crazy. Once you are down there like we've been, the chances of getting out of it are so slim. I've accepted it, the worry now is what sort of signings we're going to be making this summer after the fire sale, with our catastrophic financial state and owner as incapable as ours. Could be a double drop.ffs what can anyone do? We are here now. Whats the point of being negative??
That stats of changing a manager twice in one season and staying up are ridiculously low, so it was not an option. Yes, we threw some points away, yes its fucked us. Everyone knows that. Why keep pointing out the obvious as if saying it over and over again will take us back in time and change it.
The positives are we are generally playing better, more watchable football, and have had pretty good run.And I'm not sure if we have this better way of playing by winging a few wins earlier on in the season that would have papered over the cracks, the reality of us being a shit football team. Nuno has improved many players. Wilson isnt the fucking messiah either as we have seen many times he has played. He's an option just like everyone else, but just that an option.
We are where we are for numerous reasons, we all know that. Just keep calm and carry on as they said in the war. Its all we can do.
Amen. Exactly that. Hold the fucking line, and hope on the last day we still have a dog in the fight.
