The Ashes.

Post only1billybonds »

Just been announced that Josh Hazlewood will miss the first test due to start in Perth next Friday. This is a big blow to the Australians as they will already be without their captain and no.1 pace bowler Pat Cummins.

Englands preparations for the tour has been questioned by many as they have opted to play no warm up games aside from a one off against the English lions.

Many are saying that its crucial that we get of to a good start in Perth which basically means we cant afford to lose seeing as the 2nd test in Brisbane is a day/night game ( fucking ridiculous) where the Aussies are strongly fancied.

Looking forward to this now but really unsure of how it will play out, I guess I'd still make them slight favourites due to home advantage. Going to be a few all nighters in the coming weeks for me, let's hope it'll be worth it.

I fucked off the run chase and put on the darts.

There is nothing more irritating than seeing the classless Indian team, supporters and commentators jizz themselves off over a tournament victory. Fuck that.

India looked like being on for 270 or 280 at one point
If NZ bat like they did in the semi & get after Bumrah they have a chance
Reckon it will be India though

Reckon there should be no fielding restrictions to give the bowlers a chance

Agree with that.

This is the the first T20 I have taken half an interest in . I agree it is boring, Its like American football a long pass get high fives and a hysterical crowd. Tinned excitement does become boring

I liked the first matches because there new teams involved like Nepal and Italy but the second group stage has been a bore fest
I would love  it if the Kiwis win

India have gone for a batting pitch after stuffing up the 2023 ODI final with a pitch with some life for Bumrah
Didnt seem to notice that Australia had Starc Cummins & Hazlewood

This is so boring. Nearly every ball is getting whacked out of the ground.

Wouldn't surprise me if India posts 250 again.

What a surprise. India batting first and smashing it all over the place.

I would be amazed if they fail to win this match.

Looking forward to mong boy Brook putting a positive spin on dropping a catch and throwing his wicket away

Banton as well we needed 13 an over hits six off of the first ball of the  over then tries to smash the second ball of the over out of the ground and gets caught out

Good effort from England but the seam bowling let them down.

Archer vs Bumrah is a no contest.
