Trouble is he's on big wages and no club that can afford that kind of salary is going to be remotely interested in him. He either stays put on his big wages and does fuck all, or he takes a massive pay cut to get a game at a lesser club. Which would you do?
Yea, which is exactly what I said the post before this one. There have been untold situations like this in football down the years and assuming the player wants to play (and most do) there are ways of sorting it, for example if we were to sell him and he has to take a drop in wages (almost a certainty) we would have to pay him a lump sum sweetener to get him down the road.
Another possibility is that we go down, sell Todibo, and he comes back into the fold. Yea I know.

Re: THIS IS SPARTA
Kilman is another Anderson, bought for huge dough and given away for a couple of tracksuits. If we're lucky we might get 12 mil for him, but obviously his big, lenghty contract is going to be a problem.
Re: THIS IS SPARTA
Who the FUCK thought it was a good idea spending 40M on Kilman. Based on what? We'll literally have to pay someone to take him off our hands he's so bad.

He had a proper shiner when they spoke to him at the end, hope it's not a cheekbone, would just be our luck.

Re: THIS IS SPARTA
Probably the big moment of the season, whoever had the balls to put kilman out of his misery. Maybe it was the owners themselves? Nuno? The right decision, but would have been a tough one to swallow, £40m down the shitter.

If we stay up, and sign Disasi, that is 3 top draw centre backs, arguably as good a combo as any in the league. Which is some turnaround, as at the beginning of the season, we had the worst 3 in the league.
Credit to the players, but moreso, the manager.
I agree. You would have to say under Potter Todibo looked every bit as bad as Kilman, so while credit to the player himself, you have to praise the manager for bringing that out of him.
Disasi is superb. Crazy that Maresca kicked him out of a squad that has Tosin, Badiashile and Chalobah really. It’s not even like he has a bad attitude. Seems a good egg as well.
I’m not sure there is a manager in the land that can make Kilman a good player. We just need to get shot of him. If we can get any money at all for him, it’ll be a bonus.

Re: THIS IS SPARTA
As daft as it sounds on current form we must have some of the best CB's in the league who would get into most sides, albeit Disasi isn't our player as such.
Mavro is a man mountain and seems to be getting even better.

Re: THIS IS SPARTA
I think you always need a no nonsense centre half. Head in the way of everything. Collins, Dawson etc. Complimented by a classy, ball playing partner - Ogbonna and others. Mavro is the former to Disasi and Todibo the latter.
What is Kilman? He should go back to playing Futsal. Quite how Potter didn’t see fit to replace Kilman in the summer is the main reason we are in this mess.

He’s been magnificent shows what good management has done for his confidence and game.
I’m absolutely made up for him and hope he continues to improve.

Re: THIS IS SPARTA
Amazing change in Mavropanos and Todibo since swapping Kilman for Disasi. Before that I thought we needed to replace all CBs and now with have 3 decent CBs!

A couple of players out ; namely Paqueta and Kilman and a couple of players in and the whole team look more confident! Mav has been brilliant as has Todibo! Mads looks like a GK we can be proud of! There are some games coming up that are going to be nerve wracking!
