Dreadful officiating there. First the spurs keeper clearly takes the ball out of play and play on is waved, secondly deflects it for a corner and goal kick given. Bizarre they can't just have a quick word in the ref's ear to correct obvious mistakes like that which are visible in an instant.

I think VAR is going to be used for corner decisions next season.

They've not been that bad or is that Liverpool haven't been that good.. Bit of both I think. 

Liverpool poor not to capitalise more I think. Spurs have actually done fairly well considering they're "down to bare bones", could even have gone in level. Oh well never mind. Did think their other keeper Vicario made a pigs ear of their goal though, it weren't exactly top corner and had the chance to save it.

Leeds will be happier with their point than Forest will. Fractional offsides in both games to rule out a goal for Palace and Forest respectively.

Great that we got Man City out the way without losing any ground to either side though. Villa could be there for the taking next weekend. 

Aren’t villa chasing champions league places? I think they’ll see us a must win game after today, although yes they didn’t look great today so there is some hope we can get something. 

They are, but one win in the last six isn't good at all, and you'd have to say the form we are in we should at least be able to give them a good game, especially if Summerville is back.

Previously we had to get one or two more wins than other teams to stay up.
Now we just need 1 more point than Forest & maybe spurs in the remaining 8 games.

And one more than Leeds in the remaining 7.

It's become eminently doable provided we can keep it up or nothing goes awry.
