US Politics Thread

Post stubbo-admin »

Seems like the main politics thread is becoming a Yankee-Doodle Trump-fest, so maybe scope here to split them out.

Will see if this one gains any traction ..if it does will move over a few of the million posts from our two protagonists from the other thread.

Yee-haaa!

He's taken one of them out already - what has changed? nothing.

No sign of regime change and the poor people of Iran have had their country bombed to shit, the infrastructure destroyed and the economy ruined. How have they benefitted?
Trump stepped up with a Bold and courageous move to take out the Iranian regime. He could have easily rode out the next 7 months for the mid terms instead he did what is right for man kind.

Starmer the Muslim obviously won’t go along the cսnt, no surprise there. You better hope you don’t need the USA ‘s help with Russia any time soon.

Trump is the only one who is standing up against the Islamic invasion (although Japan has caught on and Italy are starting to catch a clue too) and all you wankers can do is criticize.

You truly do deserve everything that is coming your way.

And it wasn’t be pretty.
You’re such a drama queen.

Is bombing the shit out of Iran somehow standing up to the Islamic invasion? Do you think there will be more or less refugees after this?

And all the people in Iran that have seen their country destroyed, do you think they will suddenly have a greater love for the US after this? Or do you think the region will be even more anti US/Israel? How many US embassies have been attacked so far by locals?

I think criticism of an illegal war is fair game.
First off Bombing Iran is about stopping these lunatics from developing a nuclear bomb. They insisted on enriching Uranium to weapons grade. The US offered them free nuclear energy forever and they refused it.

So Bombingvthe shot out of their facilities absolutely works in delaying their ambitions.

As for more refugees they’re coming anyway you dope.

As for them not liking us I don’t think anyone on this planet other than you perhaps cares. It’s not as if they are gonna change their hatred any time soon you idiot. The hate is real and it will remain wether we bomb Iran or not.

You really are too stupid to take seriously.

Kids and women are getting raped and attacked all over the country, you can criticize Trump and his war but don’t you dare criticize Islam or Starmer.

You’re being invaded and you’re criticizing the only person on this planet that is standing up for you. There’s a term for people like you, it’s fucking Idiot!

NATO is a defensive alliance.
Netanyahu and Trump decided to set the middle east on fire without a plan or consultation and it is up to them and them alone to work out how to put that fire out.

The only thing pissing me off is him trying to threaten and blackmail us and other nations into joining in something he started unilaterally on Netanyahus say so without apparently understanding or anticipating the wider consequences, because now he needs help.

As for how well it’s going, who knows. I don’t believe basically a word either side says about it.

The US don't learn. Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq and now Iran, The " Regime change" could only be done the minority Kurds which would about as palatable with the Iranians as would be with the Brits if we had a minorities regime change , The Shah of Iran was a dictator There is no democracy in that region Kings or Emirs for a reason look at what happened when Saddam got "Regime changed" ISIS got hold of some oil and the money that goes with

Iran have motorboats and jet skis with passengers carrying RPGs firing at ships they can permanently hold up ships the straits of Hormuz until such time the bombings and missiles stop

Agree. I think he’d just walk away today leaving a horrific mess for the whole region to clean up claiming a victory if he could, however hollow and phyrric, but he can’t do it until his master tells him he can.

Sadly for the USA the level of stupidity of its President grows day by day week by week.

The situation that presents in the Persian Gulf is the obvious example of this stupidity.

Trump is acting more like Frank Spencer than Forrest Gump in that the hapless Gump managed to make things overall better compared to the never quite clever enough Spencer leaving a trail of devastation.

Trump can end this farago in the blink of an eye but he won’t until Bibi gives him the go ahead. Instead of urging Tankers to grow some and try transiting the Straight of Hormuz Trump needs to put his big boy pants on and strike a deal, it’s what he delusionally prides himself on, but that won’t happen until Israel meets its own objectives.

As for the many countries that Trump has denigrated and disrespected they should leave Trump hoisted by his own petard.

Lets not make this personal, The UK , France, China, South Korea and Japan have not responded with any actions to the US  request to assist them to allow the free passage of merchant ships through the straights of Hormuz

In so many words Iran want a deal but the US are not ready
