It would be nice to think of these 2 new Forwards as the modern day equivalent of the Kitson and Hartson duo. Hit the ground running lads!
Won’t be worse value than Fullkrug, will he? Looks like he can play across the front and off the main striker. Best guess is he’ll initially play on the left and again, his end product can’t be worse than Summerville can it?

Read that he’s not dissimilar to Arnautovic in style. With South American’s you seem to either get the wishy washy flakes or proper grafters. Hopefully’s he’s the latter and that’s why he’s being signed as this team lacks a backbone.

Sounds like Pablo likes a bit of graft too. Might not be pretty, but needs must.

It's not ideally how you want to run a club, but given who our owner is, and how we operate, he's the best chance we've got.

He can’t sign for anyone else this season.

He either stays at Villa, or goes back to Liverpool.

Villa don't want to play him because if he plays 10 games in any competition they have to sign him for £35m. I think this led to their director of football Monchi suddenly departing not long after the transfer window closed. The bloke did a great job at Sevilla for years but he didn't last long in Brum.

I'd take him over Sterling anyday of the week. I'll just pretend his surname is Keitel because that's the only Harvey who was ever cool.
He can’t play for anymore teams in Europe this season.

Typical that the signing of this Pablo bloke hasn't been announced today. The club has form for needlessly dragging out signings.

Hopefully it will be announced tomorrow morning.

Can't believe Spurs didn't want him & that bigger clubs weren't interested, would love to have him here.

He's a bit of a strange one for me.

Sure he pops up with a goal out of the blue when you least expect it but I never really seem to see his presence on the pitch until he nicks the odd goal.

Not a bad trait to have at all but what else does he do?

Kudus is a bit like that as well which is why they probably think they don't need Johnson.
I think they paid £40m so have dropped £5m or so in 18 months. I dont like the diving little prick but given that he was their top scorer last season it seems odd - especially since Frank wanted him at Brentford - but my guess would be that his stats now suggest that he's not progressing as they had hoped.

No mention of Jesus on the official site & the team news there just says Todibo is being assessed and Igor is available after being ineligible v Brighton
Expect we missed the deadline but wouldn’t mind if we are playing silly buggers & he appears on the bench

Spurs have some bloke called Kudus & Kulusevski to come back at some point so don’t really need him
Definitely need a CB & presumably Guilherme will go out to pay for one

A CB is a critical signing now.  Cresswell sounds like the one lined up. Done well in France, good in the air and apparently vocal and a “leader”. Top in aerial duels in France too. Young at what 23?  I saw him on the box for England in the U21 Euro tournament last year and yes he looked good in that but like Ligue 1 in France its less intense than the PL.  lets hope Max Hahn is backing tge signing with his research assuming he was involved with recruitment of Fernandes or Magassa who donlook good signings.

There is also talk of some LB coming in so its obvious that Sullivan has cacked himself what with these deals getting done so early.  Dont suspect any of them are world beaters / class yet but so long as they are better than we have that is progress. Not hard as its a low bar and if we get them all its still a big ask to dig us out of the hole we are in.

When was the last time Sterling played a game of football?
Am sure he has done a bit of light training as £300k+ a week landed in his account and would be weeks if not months away from being match fit
Sums him up to say he’d rather join Fulham as presumably he lives west of London & doesnt fancy the drive east for his chauffeur
Joey Beachamp style!
