100% he becomes a player and we will all be wondering why we were never able to get a thing out of him.

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
I think Guilherme may turn out to be a decent player but as a club we aren’t and haven’t been in a position to pay £25m for someone ‘for the future’
Are we smart enough to have a buy back or sell on if he is going ?
Need to use the funds for someone who can play NOW

Traore used to scare me when we played Wolves but I have come to realise he's all fur coat and no knickers.
Prove me wrong, Adama.

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
Yup. He HAS to be accounted for in a way Summerville or Paqueta just don’t when out on the wing. And you have to put a strong or pacy player on him which creates opportunities elsewhere on the pitch. Aside from Bowen we don’t have a single player like that. Even if he just runs around and stretches play without the ball it’ll have a positive effect for us.
Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
As Goose says probably a couple of years too late but I would have got Traore in as Antonio's understudy a few years back. Not a natural forward but neither was Antonio, but he is/was a battering ram who through the middle could have done a similar job.
Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
Guilherme was a great signing, plenty of potential and in a more successful team may have got the minutes he needed, still got most of our money back so was worth the punt..

Looks like Guilherme is off to Sporting Lisbon.
Mendes seems to be working some magic.

Pablo (no not that one) having a medical, could be in in time for Wolves

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
Suits everyone
Fulham get a couple of million plus losing his wages
Traore gets to play more and is a free agent at the end of the season
Hopefully (HOPEFULLY) we get someone to play on the break who has something to prove

Traore is a player I’ve wanted us to sign for ages. Might be a year or two too late but I love the pace & directness he brings.
Will be nice to see one of players not be constantly out muscled by the opposition.

Good. Actually getting business done early. Favourable deal too. And cheap.
not exactly Arjen Robben but 100% improves our attacking potential and leaves most of the money for other players.

Theyve gone away from that with the Chinese owners
I think Mendes was actually an investor or some kind of shareholder in Fosun who are the Chinese owners of Wolves.
They obviously had some kind of mutual agreement deal in the early days of their ownership but for one reason or another it seems pretty obvious that the relationship broke down.
They've had some brilliant Portugeezers playing for them over the last decade. Plus the odd Brazilian too.

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
The Strand Larsen one was giving me kittens as well bang out of form and already pre-programmed with a relegation mentality. He needs to build his career back up slowly after their impending relegation. Too risky to spend that amount when we might soon be joining Wolves ourselves.
Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
These cunts signed yet?
Got to say im hugely underwhelmed by the traore signing. Someone ive not massively rated, and cant even get in fulham's team.
Hope im Wrong
I know fuck all the other one but im glad were not getting rinsed by wolves again and giving them cash to spend

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
Yea, I would want go home after his couple of years.
I think if we're to survive Nono has to get the best out of him and Bowen and the striker coming in. Got to keep our best players!

How much do you think we'll get for Paqueta and who from?

If there is any possibility of Ruben Neves from Saudi I’d offer Paqueta as a swap

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
We should agree the £40m for Strand Larsen on Friday night
And then withdraw it at 5pm on Saturday after he is left out
After Matt Jarvis & Kilman it’s not as if we will ever consider buying a Wolves player in the future

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
Can't fault the speed of a new signing, so for once the Club has acted prompt and seemingly laying down significant dough for a 21yo if the £20M is to be believed I think I read somewhere. The kind of young fit Striker signing we should have made instead of Fullkunt having failed with Duran. Question marks will have to remain about whether Pablo can produce his form in the Prem but let's see.
