From some Belgian media outlet. Not what we need now probably but good for next season in the Fizzy pop?
West Ham, on the other hand, have shown considerable interest in the 22-year-old. Zulte Waregem seem to be prepared to lose the Nigeria international this month.Het Nieuwsblad echo GVA’s claim and add that the Hammers have had their eyes set on the Nigerian for some time.Nnadi is currently at AFCON and has made only one appearance in the tournament.

CBs asap and 2 of them and another midfielder or two to allow some rotation in midfield. I guess if he starts playing 3 in midfield from Paqueta, Potts, Fernandes and Magassa that will give him one decent sub but still think we need a warrior in there with something left in his legs.
And whoever comes in needs to be decent as CBs. Cresswell and a loan for Axe although injuries are tye problem with him. But someone experienced alongside Cresswell or Todibo means we dont have to play Kilman at all and Stavros just as a sub.
Not asking for much am I? Hence dont expect it to happen.

CB's definitely the priority, but if we have the wiggle room to get a keeper, I'd have that next on the list.

I agree he's part, but the chasm at CB makes me far more nervous than Areola does. If that's also fixed then happy days but this surely is a lower priority as things stand. Areola won't relegate us, but Kilman and Mav will.

I think Areola gets a pass because of how shit the centre backs are, but he's part of the problem. You do not concede from set plays like we do, possibly the worst Premier League team ever in that regard, and the keeper is blameless, I reckon you could count on one hand the amount of times he has actually caught the ball this season.
The wonder saves haven't pulled the wool over my eyes, the club did try to address it in the summer, sadly, they got it wrong.

Looks decent to me. Tremendous long ball distribution too.

With a name like BENTO he should be good at commanding the BOX
Seriously though, I'm not sure keeper is really a priority here unless it's cheap backup to Areola. He's been one of the few who hasn't done a lot wrong this season.

Let's hope Bento can keep hold of his balls between his sticks!

Oh look. We are linked with another Portuguese speaker. Is his agent Jorge Mendes by any chance?
This stinks. Nuno and his agent are taking the piss out of our club and it's OAP chairman.
Made yourself look stupid again haven’t you

Let's just hope Bento's entering the fray at West Ham.
The wonder saves look great, but we need someone calm and steady, who commands & organises his defenders, comes for crosses, catches the ball, you know, the fundamentals of goalkeeping.
Are you saying this Bento commands the box ?
In fairness, I didn't know who we was linked with, just glad we are being linked with a keeper, but let's hope so.
It was just a bad pun mate
Bento... box
As you were

Agree, these transfers in will not change much without better CBs. I also think we need another, more experienced centre midfielder that, unlike the 3 tortoises we have ( Soucek, Guido, Irvine), can sub on for Potts, Magassa and Fernandes. These 3, all 22 or under, will have off days when they show their inexperience like last Saturday. Someone with legs and an appetite for hard work in midfield, a leader, in the squad would be perfect. Picking up Xhaka or Henderson might have been a shrewd move in hindsight. Someone with that kind of profile on loan for 6 months. Wishful thinking I guess?

Now our best Striker at the Club that Nuno has constantly dicked about all along with a relationship at rock bottom wants out because he cannot take it anymore it's that bad!
Utterly fucking clueless management from tofrom bottom. We're doomed.
It's not because "he cannot take it anymore", it'll be because he's on a heavily incentivised performance-related contract and we've just signed two players who will be vying for his shirt
That was part of the thought process, not just the playing side of not taking it anymore. He also won't take the fact he's been shunned when also on such a deal. I don't blame him at all for wanting out with how he has been poorly treated since playing here under Nuno.
Nuno has said about it:“I personally decided that these (two) strikers have joined,” Nuno said. “So Callum is a very experienced man. He's been in the game for so much time. He knows that his position has changed. So we were honest to each other. Yes your position has changed but he's still a player from the club. And we still maybe need him and he should help us because he joined us.“I don't know where things will go. Or what will happen beyond my decision making. But until that situation me and Callum, we have been very honest about each other and the way we communicate. So maybe from some time now we will address this issue again. But it's not right at the moment.”

I see Man City are thinking of making a January move for Guehi given Dias, Guardiol & Stones are all injured
Palace were supposedly looking at Kilman previously
Come on , you KNOW it makes sense
If they were before, then SURELY they cannot still be after the Brighton and Wolves matches. He's one of those players who gets better by not playing.
It would be unbelievable good luck if this happened, even if it was for 10 million quid. Just cut our fucking losses and never be so stupid again. I cannot see their recruitment staff being so fucking retarded though.
