Utterly fucking clueless management from tofrom bottom. We're doomed. It's not because "he cannot take it anymore", it'll be because he's on a heavily incentivised performance-related contract and we've just signed two players who will be vying for his shirt
That was part of the thought process, not just the playing side of not taking it anymore. He also won't take the fact he's been shunned when also on such a deal. I don't blame him at all for wanting out with how he has been poorly treated since playing here under Nuno.

We went to Wolves and didn't have a shot on target. Our problems are not just at the back.

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread
No clean sheets since Nuno took over, so definitely need a CB or two.
We definitely need more firepower though, just someone who's going to maybe put a shot on goal might help so fingers crossed these guys can do that.

Personally I think we should have bought 2 no nonsense, head it and kick it CB's. Our problem hasn't been scoring its been holding on to leads. Of course an extra forward after that would be welcome.

On the face of it, seems like a crazy signing, the usual short sighted, doesn't fit requirements we need buy.
However, at this point, who gives a fuck.

Let's just hope this Castellanos fella and that Pablo Felipe fella have something about them.
It's a massive risk to lay out so much dough (for us) on two Latin forwards who have never played in the Premier League before.

I'd rather put the cash towards two or three champ players in the summer.
Penny wise. Pound stupid. Doesn’t much sound like a Sully Special Signing.!

I want to thank everyone for this time together and for all the affection I received. Now I move on to another challenge in my career, taking with me everything I lived here and with the certainty that good things are ahead. Grateful for everything. Once a Hammer

Add to the fact that neither could get a gig in the PL this season after leaving speaks volumes about the quality or absolute lack of, of both Kilman and Mav. We’d have been no worse of turning out two ‘over the hill’ full backs deemed not good enough to be at the club. The comment was about the character of the players, as in senior and experienced.
I know but it also sadly applies in terms of talent vs our current special needs class of centre backs as well.
