Recommend a Documentary

?"Been a while since we've had one of these, and the nights are drawing in, so I need something new to watch. A few to get things going.. ""Cold War"" (1998) Series made by the same people who did 'The World at War'. Covers the period from 1945 to 1991. This is episode 1, the same person's put up all the other episodes too.. ""To Mars by A-Bomb: The Secret History of Project Orion"" (2002) BBC film about the Cold War era plan to build an ocean liner-sized spaceship, propelled by endless external nuclear explosions. Fascinating from start to finish. ""Reggae"" (1971) Film about the 1970 Wembley reggae festival. Live clips, interviews, etc. If you like old ska/reggae you'll love it. "

Think it’s still on in cinemas rather than streaming yet but the documentary Jeff Buckley : It’s never over is very good if you are a fan

Been watching some of Dan Snows stuff about World War 2 on you tube with historian James Holland. Been an education I must say, had little knowledge of so much. Plus I was getting so fed up with the adverts I noticed you tube are offering a free month on their ads free premium service. Gone for the premium lite, ideal if you aren't bothered with downloading music, £7.99 a month which ill take as just in one night it's a totally different experience without the bloody ads.

Couple of decent documentaries on you tube following Ant Middleton's attempts to climb both Everest and K2. Threw a warm rug over me whilst watching. Brutal terrain and my mind can't comprehend why people would risk such a thing.

Did anyone catch the Lucy Letby Documentary on Netflix?  To start with those AI-generated figures were really off putting, don't know wht they didn't just use actors or blank out the faces.  The documentary though was a game of two halves so to speak.  First 45 mins I was convinced that she was guilty.  Second 45 I was convince that she is innocent.  Last 15 I decided I really haven't got a clue either way.

New documentary, Titan: The OceanGate Disaster on Netflix is a fascinating watch.  Just staggered how someone could be so focused on achieving their goal they ignore everyone else telling them how dangerous it was.
