Good news. Much as I'd like a change of manager for us, this ain't the one. Proper Emperor's New Clothes this bloke. If he wasn't so young then people would take more notice of his mediocre results and dreary style of play. He basically likes Pottering about: keep possession as much as you can without going forward too much and tell your forwards to not shoot in case there might be a better pass on.

The manager he took over from at Lens (Franck Haise) was getting better results and scoring many, many more goals and he's been doing the same thing this season at Nice, getting them their first top 4 finish in years.
