RIP Gilson Lavis, Drummer for Squeeze, 74.

Rotten year for drummers, following Rick Buckler (the Jam), and Clem Burke (Blondie)

Sunlight on the lino, woke me with a shake, I looked around to find her, but she'd gone

Apparently Gilson was a right handful, especially after a beer. The engine room of one of the greatest bands ever. RIP

Always saw Squeeze as a band that appealed to the working class because their lyrics were something most of us could identify with.

I also didn't know Clem Burke had died. Love the the drum roll intro to Denis Denis. 

Not a big Squeeze fan. A bit wishy washy for me however RIP Gilson and Clem.
