Our new head coach is Rita Guarino. Italian, was manager at Juventus and won 7 trophies.
Her first match will be Chelsea away 11 Jan 2026. Nice easy start.

I wonder if kate longhurst could come in. I don't know what she's up to now. Did she do any coaching badges.

Skinner didn't do much and to be struggling in the 2nd season after plenty of opportunity to shape the squad wasn't very good. Drawing with Liverpool the only team below us probably sealed the sacking. Quite a good time to change. Next game is January when there is also the transfer window. Everton and Leicester are 3 and 4 points ahead of us. A new manager will have to get us moving up the table. Yes uncanny the similarities with the men, but I think the women are in a better position.

The commonality would be uncanny, if it was the same sport.

sacked I guess.
Yes it seems she was a bit of a cock piss potter, maybe a
fanny, wee wee, skinner

The results have been poor, but there's been a lot of changes in the team. I know most on here think they're nothing to do with west ham but they've plenty in common when it comes to the timing of successes and struggles. Also in a relegation fight this season.

I'd watch all the mens cup draws if they were done by lesbians, with loads of innuendos, with them making sex toys out of the balls.

Is she the one who drew out a ball and accidentally dropped it back in before picking it out again?
And then when she drew out Tottenham asked ‘What do we think of Tottenham?’

I see the WSL are blaming Sky for dwindling viewing figures.

I do think they've hit the nail on the head regarding how to do cp draws though.

As Bill Burr said “ if women can’t be bothered to watch women’s sport why should you expect men to “
I think most women have no interest in watching sport at all, regardless of who is playing. I would guess the girls that do follow the ladies, also watch the men. Prob season ticket holders looking for something else to do when the men are not playing.

Its funny how the the ladies improvement has followed from the men's team finally getting a couple of wins.
There seems to be very little "middle ground" when it comes to sport & women. No real idea why.

On the one hand there are the very dedicated athletes, then a few who are aware, but the vast majority appear totally disinterested in any sport.

There's a very steep drop between the "cares" and "don't cares" with regards to most sports . That drop off is much more gradual amongst men.
And if they want to watch podgy dykes run around aimlessly and yell at each other Coronation Street is on 3 times a week.

twoleftfeet wrote: 17 Nov 2025, 08:23 Apparently, well according to the BBC, there were 7000 in attendance which is more lies because the grounds capacity is only 9500 and it was deserted. The stand behind one of the goals was empty and only the stand by the dugouts was 3/4 full. If there was more than 3500 I’d be amazed. Why the need to lie?
I assume you're looking for an answer more sophisticated than it's the BBC, it's what they do.

Good win for the ladies, 3-1

Huge crowd at Brisbane Rd for the North London derby…..not! Less than a non league game despite all the hype.
