What annoyed me most about Hoddle on Monday night was when the penalty claim against Fernandes was being discussed, a replay from one angle showed clearly that Fernandes had played the ball first, and Hoddle then said "But look at it from THIS angle", when it wasn't as clear, as if that proved it should have been a penalty.

He was basically gutted we won and didn't try to hide it. Moaning about penalty decisions. Saying Brentford were the better team and on top for spells of the game and they deserved something. No mention of us at all really and certainly nothing complimentary. Pretty down and miserable sounding about the result. He was like it at half time too- lots of moaning about penalty decisions and non decisions.

Great win, great spirit and great momentum. Happy days after a lot of shit. Onwards and upwards. Dissasi and Bowen top notch and Fernandez when he has the ball you know everything is gonna be alright. Magassa had a mare but can learn from that. Superb penalties after a Kellener worldie and Jimmy what a change in form since the new year. I'm optimistic which surprises me.

There was that one moment in the first half where you pretty much saw what Traore was all about, he went past a couple of players like they were statues got himself into a good shooting position only to drag his effort wide. I still maintain he will be useful in the run-in.

Does it matter if we are winning games?  Bowen, Summerville, Soucek, Fernandes, all chipping in with goals, Taty has scored a couple. 

Yea it does matter as you always want to do better and you can't rely on others all the while. In fact I'll say moving forward we won't see both of them starting too often. What you think about that fella??

We'll see what happens, longer term we will need goals from them but for now the system seems to be working.  They are still relatively new to the league so for me they are doing well enough.

Yes they are and to a point Nuno's hand is tied as we are clearly one short up top which is frustrating. As you say Taty does nick the odd one, but find me a manager that plays his two forward players week in week out who don't, or rarely, score, you won't be able to. One possibly, but not both. Problem is you are then really playing the percentages and relying on your wide players or midfielders chipping in to score and that is a big risk.
