US Politics Thread
Seems like the main politics thread is becoming a Yankee-Doodle Trump-fest, so maybe scope here to split them out.
Will see if this one gains any traction ..if it does will move over a few of the million posts from our two protagonists from the other thread.
Yee-haaa!

I was part of the GGC project building a railway thought the UAE from Oman north and then west through the other UAE emirates and into Saudi. The railway went up to Saudi border and they built nothing to connect to it .A railway that ends in the Abu Dhabi desert

Re: US Politics Thread
Hilarious from Trump.
Starts war that nobody else wants to join.
Slags off people for not joining.
Doesn’t plan for the obvious move of Iran closing the Hormuz straight.
Asks countries who didn’t want this war to risk their navy helping him secure the Hormuz straight.
Operation Epic Fail.

I hope we don't get involved
I thought they were 'winning' so much with the greatest miliary on the planet and completely obliterating the enemy that they couldn't possibly need little old us or anyone else to help them...
Unless it's not going anywhere near as well as their bombastic claims, of course.
Seriously I hope we don't get involved in Trump and Netanyahu's war/genocide either particularly for our navy to be cannon fodder, although I am sure he's going to make more silly trade threats if we don't offer up our resources.

Why would other countries send ships?
Trump said they’d won already and they didn’t need the UK
The dementia is full blown
Unlike Trump when the 13yo bit his penis

Lets see where we are in August 2026 if as in peace in the middle east . Its still kicking off in Iraq with Iranian backed Shai Militia
The Taliban won the war in Afghanistan after 21 years . Its called the graveyard of empires for a reasom
Doesn’t matter where we are in AUG or DEC or any other month. You and those with TDS will find reason to moan no matter what.
In the meantime we will blast them and their nuclear capabilities into the Stone Age. Hopefully will establish regime change for the better just like we did with Iraq. Then we no longer have to worry about a hateful crazy Islamist with a nuclear arsenal.
Its not Trump mate, Its the US policy in the middle east, I did post GW Bush "Mission accomplished" in regard to the war in Iraq in May1 2003, If Trump had not gone to war with Iran I would be ok with him, I have back in the UK for seven years and I don't generally get involved in US politics

Why are you such a hypocrite?
You’re the coward who deep down hopes Trump takes them out once and for all and puts an end to the threat of a Nuclear Iran.
We all know that’s a risk too far. So stop the pretense you disengenuous Coward.
Stop hiding from your true feelings simply because Trump is the only one willing to step up and take the evil Mullahs head on.
just say thank you then shut up! You sound like a retard.

They never took that chance. That's not the fault of Brexit or the people who voted for it.
I never said it was the fault of the people who voted to leave the EU.
It is entirely the fault of the Tories who decided how to implement it and picked the most disruptive version that they could regardless of the inevitable consequences.
