I don't think anyone would have predicted we'd all draw this last round of games but I would have taken it before hand. 

Could need 42 points to stay up or 36 the only predictable thing is it won't be predictable. Though I'm sure every fan base thinks it will be them as they expect their team to fuck up and others not to.

You are like a dog with a bone obsessing over Tottenham all the while, yea we get it you hate them. We all do. It's not a competition. And those 4 fixtures are not ''minging'' 3 of them are very winnable. I'd worry about us first me ol' china, we are still deep in it.

A couple of things in our favour, other than finding a bit of form just in time. Everyone who plays Spurs is going to want to push them closer to the drop. It’s one thing getting a point against a sub par Liverpool, but even teams who have nothing to play for will increase their efforts against Spurs. See Palace for example. Then there’s Forest, who for me need to win 3 from their next 4 if they are to get 3 wins in the run in. They then hit 3 hard games, and Bournemouth last game isn’t a gimme. Surprised they are the bookies least likely to go down based on remaining fixtures and current form.

The international break has come at the wrong time for us, it breaks our momentum.

Suits me whatever result versus Villa. We win, it will only apply serious pressure on those above us, draw or lose it'll come at the right time to have a breather and take stock before going again. I could think of much worse times for it to come up. The other important factor is it gives Summverville an extended period of time to get back without rushing him with no League games to play after Villa.

I don't think Leeds will go down after they have already done what we are currently doing. I think they'll be just about safe. Forest and Spurs are the kiddies I think it's out of if I'm being totally honest. Forest should go down but then again, the one beauty and ruthlessness about the Premier League is anything can happen and I think it will..

I actually see keeping Tudor in post (should have gone after Atheltic Madrid) because of that draw today is the worst outcome for them. Just have this feeling that they're going through the crack papering phase.

I think Forest will beat Spurs.

We are a 4 goal swing away from safety as it currently stands with 8 games to go. When we strip away everything and focus solely on our remaining 8 fixtures, we couldn't ask for too much of a better run in till the end of the season and that's before you take in the player injury crisis and poor form the other Teams around us have.

Even down to where the fixtures are being played during the business end of the season I couldn't ask for better.

Last game at Home being against winnable opposition. As is Arsenal, Wolves, Everton at Home which are just as winnable when we have our tail between our legs with the crowd bang at it, yes even against Arsenal.

Villa Away I wouldn't normally expect too much from under Emery but the fact they are in piss poor form makes it a realistic chance of a positive result. We managed to knock the stuffing out of Brentford recently knocking them out the Cup so know we have it in us currently to get at least a point off them. Newcastle Away I would concede is one of those under Howe I wouldn't expect anything from. 

Add in to the mix we have virtually an injury free Squad now to select from with a 3 week break, bar a nice FA Cup tie at Home to look forward to coming up after the Villa game with 7 games to go, we are now in a healthy situation with real belief flowing throughout the Club of staying up. It really should be 1 out of Forest, Spurs or Leeds when I weigh it all up. 

Whatever the result that happens in the Spurs game should we lose at Villa which is no shame in doing so, it still means we will be either level or 1 point from safety with Wolves at Home next after the break. However if we target the Villa game hard to win it, then it would turbo charge our chances of safety. Chuck the absolute bollocks at going for it, West Ham! To the victory, the spoils.

Broadly agree with most of that, if we can get through next weekends fixtures (plural) relatively OK then we are set with 4 winnable games, and agree that beating Villa would be a game changer. As you say, momentum, an injury free squad, strong home support, with rest time coming up, it's looking pretty healthy.

However, as I have believed for a while now IMO it's between us and Forest. Without going into it all I sadly don't think Spurs will sink into the abyss and believe Leeds will win home games, and they already have a 3 point buffer, plus GD on us.

I think Spurs Forest next week will tell us a lot more if Spurs have turned a corner. I'm going to say it, and keeping it real, I think it's better for us that Spurs win or it's a draw. I have thought for a good while now it's between us and Forest, a Forest win at Spurs could be very damaging to us IMO. Leeds have got 3 very winnable home games coming up, I doubt we are finishing above them. We are still in a heap of trouble, no doubt.

I can see spurs comfortably beating forest next weekend, as well as us loosing and it being back to a 2 horse race.  Villa are in a terrible run and I fear we will be on the receiving end. Hope I’m very wrong. 

If Forest match the performance in their most recent Away match they had, they will be beat Spurs.

Yep, been thinking for a while now that those to destructive egos at the heart of their defence are a big reason why they are in the mess they are in. No coincidence they perform better as a Team without them and that side was a mess of a Team really.

I’m not really sure them getting a point is a sign of anything. Certainly doesn’t change the dynamic for us, and it does also mean they keep the coach and don’t get a genuinely qualified firefighter in.

Leeds have wolves , Burnley and Brentford at home  in next 4 matches. They will be safe before we get to play them I reckon.

Leeds have not won a PL game for quite a while, been slowly sinking back down, got a point with 10 men but was more Palace being shit than Leeds battled IMO

As we have seen, no game is easy this season even bottom dwellers Wolves have been better the past month, those games won’t be easy for Leeds and won’t surprise me to see them draw or lose and fall further.
